Synopsis
The XSPEC xion model: reflected spectrum of photo-ionized accretion disk/ring.
Syntax
xsxion The xsxion model is a multiplicative model component.
Description
The model is described at [1] .
Deprecated in Sherpa 4.10.0
The lxld parameter has been renamed lxovrld to match the XSPEC definition. The name lxld can still be used to access the parameter, but this name will be removed in a future release.
Example
>>> create_model_component("xsxion", "mdl") >>> print(mdl)
Create a component of the xsxion model and display its default parameters. The output is:
mdl Param Type Value Min Max Units ----- ---- ----- --- --- ----- mdl.height thawed 5 0 100 r_s mdl.lxovrld thawed 0.3 0.02 100 mdl.rate thawed 0.05 0.001 1 mdl.cosAng thawed 0.9 0 1 mdl.inner thawed 3 2 1000 r_s mdl.outer thawed 100 2.1 100000 r_s mdl.index thawed 2 1.6 2.2 mdl.redshift frozen 0 -0.999 10 mdl.Feabun frozen 1 0 5 mdl.E_cut thawed 150 20 300 keV mdl.Ref_type frozen 1 1 3 mdl.Rel_smear frozen 4 1 4 mdl.Geometry frozen 1 1 4

XSPEC version
CIAO 4.16 comes with support for version 12.13.1e of the XSPEC models. This can be checked with the following:
% python -c 'from sherpa.astro import xspec; print(xspec.get_xsversion())' 12.13.1e
