Synopsis
Displays the major tickmarks for the specified axis or axes.
Syntax
display_major_ticks() display_major_ticks(id)
Description
The function arguments.
| Argument | Description |

| id | A ChipsId structure identifying the item, or a string containing the name of the object. |
The display_major_ticks command displays the major tickmarks of one or more axes which were hidden with the hide_major_ticks command.
Example
chips> add_axis(XY_AXIS, 0.5, 1, 10)
chips> hide_major_ticks()
chips> display_major_ticks("ax1")Create a pair of axes. The major tickmarks on both are hidden, then displayed for the axis called 'ax1'.
