I. INTRODUCTION
CalDB 4.6.0 is an internal-only upgrade to the Chandra CalDB, which includes the following items:
- PIMMS CY16 Effective Areas
CalDB 4.6.0 contains only PIMMS CY16 Effective Areas, which has no affect on CIAO 4.6 users at all.

The CYCLE 16 PIMMS Effective Area files have been added to the CalDB in version 4.6.0. These files have no use whatever to CIAO users, and are only read by the DS10.2 operating system in populating the online PIMMS effective area viewer and count rate calculator.
