Fellowships

The Chandra Fellowship program has completed the first two selection cycles, and the 1998 Chandra Fellows have taken up their positions. For each annual cycle, applications are due in mid-November. They are reviewed by an external panel of scientists who meet at the Center for Astrophysics in January, so that notification of awards can be made in late January. The Fellows from the first two competitions have now been announced (see table, below).

We encourage institutions who would be interested in hosting a fellow to send us a brief description (or at least an appropriate web link) of people and research facilities which would make your group an exciting place for a fellow to work. This information is posted on the Fellowship application website.
