Radiation (Geophysical Activity): The geomagnetic field is expected to be at unsettled to severe storm levels on day one (07 Nov), unsettled to major storm levels on day two (08 Nov) and unsettled to active levels on day three (09 Nov). Protons have a slight chance of crossing threshold on days one, two, and three (07 Nov, 08 Nov, 09 Nov). One of the two incoming CME passages was observered around 0500 UTC this morning, with a rise in ACE P3 rates from 5k to 10k from 1200 to 1400 UTC. The following CME is expected to reach earth around Nov 08 0000 UTC. The source region for both of these passages (AR 4274) is still active with a BGD magnetic complexity and with estimates for X-class flares at around 30%.
