The 3-D projection shows the absolute level of the count rate for the average background derived from all 21 pointings in this instrumental configuration. After applying the H-test filter, the raw data were first blocked 8x8 and then, after averaging, smoothed using a Gaussian with a sigma of 40 blocked pixels. The vertical scale was selected so as to be identical to the other 3-D projections for ease of comparison. This data can also be seen as a percentage difference from the mean and as a color contour map of the count rate. Or you can see all six plots at once.
